However, a settings glitch in the new update is causing some users to default to “International Mode,” which hides Australian supermarket features.

The Fix:

1. Go to the More tab.
2. Tap Log Out.
3. Log back in with your account.

This forces the app to refresh your location settings and will restore the Price Comparison tab immediately.

Follow these steps to create your personalised meal plan:

1. Accessing the Meal Plan Feature:

• Go to your “Grocery Tab”.
• Tap on “Plan.”
• If it’s your first time creating a meal plan, tap on “Start Meal Plan.”
• If you’ve created meal plans before, tap on the “+” sign in the top right corner to create a new one.

2. Setting Your Preferences:

• Choose Your Diet Type: Select your preferred diet from options like “Anything,” “Keto,” “Vegetarian,” “Paleo,” “Low Carb,” “Pescatarian,” and more.
• Tap “Next.”
• Select Your Favorite Cuisines: Choose from a variety of cuisines, including “Western,” “Asian,” and others.
• Tap “Next.”

3. Planning Your Meal Details:

• Number of People: Indicate how many people the meal plan is for.
• Set Your Budget: Enter your desired budget. Keep in mind that the budget will influence the number of days you can plan for.
• Tap “Next.”

4. Customising Your Meal Plan:

• Select Days: Choose the number of days you want to plan for, up to a maximum of 7 days.
• Select Dates: Choose the specific dates for your meal plan.
• Choose Meal Types: Decide which meals you want to plan for: “Breakfast,” “Lunch,” “Dinner,” “Snack,” or “All of them.”
• For each meal type you’ve selected, you’ll be presented with three options. If you don’t like the suggested options, tap the “Refresh” button next to “Breakfast,” “Lunch,” or “Dinner” to see new suggestions.
• Once you’re happy with the options, choose the items for Day 1.
• Repeat the process for Day 2, choosing items for each meal, and so on, until all your chosen days are complete.

5. Adding Ingredients to Your Grocery List:

• Once all your meal plan days are completed and you’re satisfied with your selections, you’ll have the option to add all the ingredients from your meal plan directly to your grocery list. This streamlines your shopping experience.

Step 1: Add Your Groceries your way:

Manual Entry: Tap the ‘+’ button for fresh produce or items without a barcode.
– You can either type the name of your item into the app (like “milk” or “eggs”), or

Scan Barcodes: Use the barcode icon at the top right. If it has a barcode, simply use your phone’s camera to scan it.

From Grocery List: Simply tick off items as you shop to move them instantly from your grocery list to your Fridge/Pantry.

Step 2: Tell Us the Details:
– Enter how many of that item you have.
– Enter the “use by” or expiration date.

Step 3: On the top right of each item you can mark as “Open” or “Sealed” which you can determine the use by date manually or based on our recommended use by date for freshness

Once an item is expired you can either delete it or add them back to your grocery list

Step 4: Get a Friendly Alert:
The app will send a notification to your phone, letting you know the item is about to expire.

Simplify Your Shopping: When an item is close to expiring (within 3 days), you’ll see a shopping cart icon. Tap it, and the item is automatically added to your grocery list.

Part 1: Preparing Your Order

1. Tap “Click & Collect/Delivery” at the bottom of your grocery list.
   
2. Review the Mix and Match cost of your grocery and the cost for shopping only in each store.
   
3. Tap “OK” to proceed.
4. Review your order items. You can untick items you do not need.
5. Tap “Checkout through Coles & Woolies” at the bottom right of the screen to finalise your store selection and proceed to checkout.
   
6. Choose where you want to place your order: ‘Coles and Woolworths’, ‘Only Woolworths’, or ‘Only Coles’.
   

Part 2: Transferring to Woolworths

If you selected an option that includes Woolworths, follow these steps:

1. Tap on the Woolworths tab.
2. Log in to your Woolworths account.
3. Once you are logged in, tap the yellow banner at the top of the screen that says: “Log in, then tap here to transfer your list items to your shopping cart.” highlighted in yellow at the top
   
4. Your grocery list items will automatically be loaded into your Woolworths shopping cart.

Part 3: Transferring to Coles

If you selected an option that includes Coles, follow these steps:

1. Tap on the Coles tab.
2. When prompted, allow WiseList to use your location. This helps us find the nearest Coles store for your specific Click & Collect or Delivery order.
3. Log in to your Coles account.
4. Your grocery list items will automatically be loaded into your Coles shopping cart.

Important Things to Know

• Delivery Fees: Even though you use WiseList to organise, you are still bound by the delivery fees and service charges of Coles or Woolworths.
• Substitutions: If an item is out of stock, the supermarket’s own substitution rules will apply (you can usually adjust these preferences during the final checkout on their site).
• Loyalty Points: Since you are logging into your actual Coles/Woolies account to pay, you will still earn your Flybuys or Everyday Rewards points as usual.

• Specials count. Factor in weekly specials and discounts when comparing.
• Supermarket brands are often cheaper. Don’t automatically reach for name brands; compare to the store’s own brand for potential savings.

2. Sort your results: Locate the “Sort by” option directly under the search bar. Tap it to see your sorting choices.

Additional Tips:

• The “Specials First” sort option is great for finding discounts on your favorite products.

• Find Your Notes: All saved notes are in your “My Lists” tab under Life Admin.
• Easy Search with Tags: WiseList automatically adds tags to your notes. Tap relevant tags to quickly filter and find what you need.

• Find “Subscriptions”: Go to My Lists and tap the “Subscriptions” section under Finance.
• Add Your Subscriptions:
  • Find your subscription in our list for popular service (Netflix, Spotify etc. ) . If it’s not there, create a custom subscription (like a gym membership or local service).
• Choose a Category:
  • Select the category that best fits your subscription (e.g., education, fitness, insurance, entertainment).
• Set Your Billing Cycle:
  • Tell us how often you’re billed (e.g., monthly, annually).
• Enter Your Last Billing Date:
  • Provide the date of your most recent payment.
• Get Timely Reminders:
  • We’ll notify you 3 days before your renewal is due.

• Analyse Spending:
  • Locate the “Average Expenses” and tap the “convert” icon directly below it to view subscription costs on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly basis.
  • We’ll also prompt you to review your subscriptions and decide if you still need them. (We know it’s easy to forget about subscriptions you don’t use anymore!)
