Delivery Fees: Even though you use WiseList to organise, you are still bound by the delivery fees and service charges of Coles or Woolworths.

Substitutions: If an item is out of stock, the supermarket’s own substitution rules will apply (you can usually adjust these preferences during the final checkout on their site).

Loyalty Points: Since you are logging into your actual Coles/Woolies account to pay, you will still earn your Flybuys or Everyday Rewards points as usual.

WiseList now compare grocery items between Coles, Woolworhts & Aldi for perishable items like milk, fruit & vegetables.

There’s no single “cheapest” supermarket. Prices fluctuate constantly, and what’s cheapest for one person’s shopping list might not be for another’s.

The key is comparison based on what YOU buy. Make a list of the items you normally purchase. Then, check prices across a few supermarkets that are convenient for you. The one with the lowest total cost for your list wins!

Tech tools can help. WiseList allow you to easily compare prices between stores, often revealing savings of $20 or more per shop.

Smart Split can help you save even more. In some cases, it may be cheaper to buy certain items at one supermarket and the rest from another. WiseList’s Smart Split feature helps compare your grocery list across Coles, Woolworths, and ALDI to identify when splitting your shop could reduce your total grocery cost.

Remember:

Specials count. Factor in weekly specials and discounts when comparing.

Supermarket brands are often cheaper. Don’t automatically reach for name brands; compare to the store’s own brand for potential savings.

Yes. WiseList supports Aldi grocery comparison where equivalent products can be matched across supermarkets. However, because Aldi sells many exclusive private label products, some products cannot be directly compared with Coles and Woolworths on a one to one basis.

This is not unique to WiseList. It is a limitation that exists across the grocery industry due to differences in product ranges and private label branding.

Does WiseList compare Aldi fruit, vegetables, milk & meat?

Yes. Categories such as fresh produce, milk, eggs and many everyday essentials can often be compared across supermarkets where equivalent products are available.

Why doesn’t WiseList force product matches?

We prioritise accurate grocery comparisons. Showing two different products as identical could result in misleading pricing information.

Why can’t every Aldi product be compared?

Aldi sells a large number of exclusive private label products.

Examples include:

Farmdale

Bakers Life

Just Organic

Emporium

Everyday Essentials

Many of these products do not have an identical equivalent sold by Coles or Woolworths.

Without a true product match, a direct comparison cannot always be made.

The post Can I compare Aldi prices on the WiseList app? first appeared on WiseList.
