Terms & Conditions for Car and Home Insurance Comparison with 1-Year Free WiseList+ Membership

1. Promotional Period

This promotion is valid from 5th November 2025 to 1st December 2025, inclusive (the “Promotional Period”).

2. Eligibility
To be eligible for the 1-year Free WiseList+ Membership (valued at $49.99), customers must:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Be a resident of Australia.
  • Purchase a new Comprehensive Car Insurance or Home and Contents Insurance policy through the WiseList app or website during the Promotional Period.
  • Existing policyholders or customers renewing an existing policy are not eligible for this offer.
  • Only one (1) reward per customer, regardless of the number of eligible policies purchased during the Promotional Period.

3. Payment and Policy Maintenance Requirements

  • Customers must pay a minimum of one (1) month’s premium upfront at the time of purchase.
  • The eligible insurance policy must remain active and not be cancelled, lapsed, or otherwise terminated for at least thirty-one (31) consecutive days from the policy’s effective start date.

4. Reward Activation

  • Subject to all eligibility and maintenance requirements being met, a 1-year Free WiseList+ Membership (valued at $49.99) will be activated on the customer’s WiseList account.
  • The membership will be activated within sixty (60) days after the policy has been maintained for the required 31-day period.
  • Customers will be notified via email (to the address associated with their WiseList account) once the free membership has been activated.
  • If the customer does not have a WiseList account at the time of purchase, they must create one using the same email address used to purchase the insurance policy to receive the reward.
  • WiseList is not responsible for failed email notifications due to invalid email addresses or spam filters.

5. Conditions for Receiving the Membership Reward

  • The 1-year Free WiseList+ Membership is offered directly by WiseList and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or issued by any insurance provider.
  • If the policy is cancelled, terminated, or not maintained for the full 31 days, the customer forfeits any right to receive the free membership.
  • Limit of one (1) free membership per customer during the Promotional Period.

6. Use of the WiseList+ Membership

  • The 1-year Free WiseList+ Membership is subject to the standard WiseList+ Terms of Use.
  • The 1-year free period begins on the date of activation.
  • At the conclusion of the 1-year free period, the membership will not automatically renew into a paid subscription.

7. Non-Transferability and No Cash Value

  • The 1-year Free WiseList+ Membership is non-transferable, not exchangeable for cash or any other form of credit, and cannot be sold or auctioned.
  • No cash or credit alternative will be offered. The membership is valid only for the WiseList account that purchased the eligible insurance policy.

8. No Combination with Other Offers

This promotion cannot be combined with any other promotions, discounts, or offers provided by WiseList, unless otherwise stated in writing by WiseList.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WiseList excludes all liability for any loss, damage, or injury arising from or in connection with this promotion, including but not limited to:

  • Any technical malfunctions or failures.
  • Any loss or damage to data.
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer rights under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by agreement.

10. Variation and Termination

WiseList reserves the right to vary, suspend, or terminate this promotion at any time without prior notice, subject to applicable laws. Any changes will be published on the WiseList website.

11. Privacy

Personal information collected during this promotion will be handled in accordance with WiseList’s Privacy Policy, available at https://www.wiselist.app/privacy. By participating in this promotion, customers consent to the collection and use of their personal information for the purpose of administering this promotion.

12. Disputes

Any disputes arising from or in connection with this promotion will be governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Customers agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.

13. General

  • By participating in this promotion, customers agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  • All decisions made by WiseList in relation to this promotion are final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • WiseList’s failure to enforce any of these terms does not constitute a waiver of those terms.
  • If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
