How-To: Create and Manage Your List

1. Adding Items to Your List

  • From the Dashboard, tap Grocery List.
  • Use the search bar at the top to find a product.
  • Tap an item from the search results.
  • Choose to add it to your “Weekly Essentials” (for regular buys) or “Temporary Needs” (for once-off items).
  • Tap Add to list.

2. Creating a Collaborative (Shared) List

  • Go to your Grocery List and tap the Collaborate icon (group of people) in the top menu.
  • Tap +Invite people.
  • Enter your family member’s email, phone number, or WiseList ID to send an invitation.
    • Note: They must have a WiseList account to accept.
  • Once they accept, tap Sync my list anytime to see their real-time updates.

How-To: Compare Prices and Save

The price comparison feature is integrated directly into your list-making process.

  • As you search for and add products, the app will automatically show you the prices at Coles, Woolworths, and Aldi for comparable items.
  • When viewing your full list, you will see a price breakdown for each store.
  • For maximum savings, use the “Mix & Match” button at the top of your list to see the cheapest combination of stores for your shop.

How-To: Manage Your Fridge & Pantry

  • From the Dashboard, tap ‘My Fridge’ or ‘My Pantry’.
  • Tap the barcode scan icon to quickly add items you’ve just bought.
  • Alternatively, tap the ‘+’ button to add items manually.
  • Set expiration dates to receive a notification one day before an item expires, helping you use it in time.
