What You Can Do With Scan & Compare
Check before you buy
Scan a product and WiseList opens its page, with the price at each supermarket that sells it. You see straight away whether the one in your hand is the cheapest.
Add it to your list
If it is cheaper somewhere else, add it to your grocery list from the same screen and pick it up on your next shop there.
Watch its price
Switch on Watch this product and it joins your Watch List, so you can see when it goes on special.
How It Works
STEP 1
Open the search
In the WiseList app, tap Grocery, then tap the search bar.
STEP 2
Tap the barcode icon
It is at the right-hand end of the search bar. Allow WiseList to use your camera the first time.
STEP 3
Scan the barcode
Hold the phone close and line the barcode up across the line on screen. The product opens as soon as it is read.
Good to know. WiseList shows each supermarket’s price for your state. A shelf price in your local store can differ, so check the ticket in front of you too.
